    Traditional Real Estate Brokerage has long been the golden standard of successfully selling a home.  Statistics have shown that traditional brokerage - as opposed to Discount Brokers or the For Sale By Owner approach - results in homes sold for more money and in less time.  Alternative approaches appeal to homeowners who think they can net more on the sale of their home with lower or no brokerage fees.  While on the surface this sems like a logical idea, the often overlooked consideration is what price will the home ultimately be sold for?  If the sale price is significantly lower than what a broker could sell it for, the owner is far more likely to net more money by utilizing a broker even with factoring in the brokerage fee. 

    The fact is, real estate brokerage avails a seller to a network of real estate professionals (MLS, Relocation networks) with far more sophisticated knowledge of their local market (necessary to correctly position their home) as well as the latest technology and tools to generate the greatest number of buyer prospects which is far more likely to result in a higher selling price.
